Rich is the President and Chief Executive Officer of American Savings Bank (ASB). Active in the community, Rich serves and holds leadership positions on the Boards of several prominent organizations including the Hawaii Business Roundtable (Chair); Child & Family Service (Past Chair); University of Hawai‘i Foundation (Vice-Chair); Hawai’i Pacific Health; Hawaii Bankers Association; Chaminade University (Board of Regents); Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, and the XLR8UH accelerator.

XLR8HI’s Corporate Leadership Series is a 5-week program deseigned to kick start your entrepreneurial mindset through interactive guidance and discussion with Hawaii’s top leaders and executives. The series has two parts over the course of five weeks – a weekly open door Pau Hana anchored around a talk story with an ecosystem specialist and leader, and an invite only weekly working lunch session for cohort members anchored around a specific topic related to corporate entrepreneurship and leadership.
