Isar Mostafanezhad, founder and CEO of Nalu Scientific, and Tarik Sultan, co-founder and managing partner of Sultan Ventures, have been selected for a national list of influential young executives.
The Business Journals’ Influencers: Rising Stars spotlights 100 executives who are having an impact early in their careers on business being done in cities across the nation. All of the executives represent both large, nationally known companies as well as smaller, locally driven businesses. The group includes entrepreneurs, innovators, deal-makers and risk-takers. And, because they’re still early in their careers, these executives could shape how business is done for years to come.
Mostafanezhad’s company, Nalu Scientific, was recently listed as one of Pacific Business News’ top companies to watch after having a successful year landing multiple contracts with NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the U.S. Air Force, among others. Sultan also recently made headlines for receiving a top small business leadership award from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Both Mostafanezhad and Sultan have made appearances in PBN as a keys speaker in PBN’s technology roundtable and as members of the 40 Under 40 class of 2019.
This is the second annual production of Influencers: Rising Stars. These Rising Stars were identified in conjunction with editors and staff writers across The Business Journals’ network of more than 40 publications, including Pacific Business News. The list draws in large part from the publications’ respective Forty Under 40 productions over the past year. From that mass of more than 1,000 executives who’ve been profiled locally over the past 12 months, the field was narrowed to spotlight the 100 executives being recognized as Rising Stars.
