Hā o ke kai – Innovating together for a Climate Ready Hawaiʻi. The second annual State Climate Conference.

About this Event

Hā o ke kai literally means the breath of the sea, that we are one with the ocean, and go where it takes us—in this case, towards pioneering response to climate change challenges that lie before us in Hawaiʻi.

The conference aims to investigate the role of communication in furthering climate action. Policymakers and legislators, science and non-science climate communicators, generally interested citizenry, and climate change researchers will all find something here of value to their work.

This event is sponsored by the State of Hawaiʻi, DLNR, Office of Planning, East-West Center, Pacific RISA, and the Ulupono Initiative.

Visit the website for more information and don’t forget to sign up for one of the workshops being offered on the second day. We will be using the Mentimeter app for interactive audience participation, download in advance from the Apple Store or Google Play Store for easier participation!

Arrive at the conference using clean transportation and have the chance to win a free lunch!
